Factory-finished (prefinished) boards arrive already sealed and can often be installed in a single day. Site-finished floors go down raw, then we sand and finish them in your home for a continuous look and a finish you choose.
Often, yes. If the wood is sound, sanding and refinishing can bring a worn or dated floor back for far less than replacing it. We'll tell you honestly whether refinishing or replacement makes more sense.

A prefinished floor can go in within a day for many rooms. Site-finished work takes longer because of sanding, finishing and dry time. We'll give you a timeline along with your estimate.
