★★★★★

Another company left our hardwood uneven, with a hump over the load-bearing beam and bad boards. Brian from Floormaster assessed it and his team fixed all of it. I only wish I'd known about them from the start. I'm most grateful, and I highly recommend them.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of flooring do you install?

We specialize in wood floors: solid and engineered hardwood in a range of species, plank sizes and finishes, both prefinished and finished on site.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We come out to look at the space and give you a clear price before any work begins.

What's the difference between factory-finished and site-finished floors?

Factory-finished (prefinished) boards arrive already sealed and can often be installed in a single day. Site-finished floors go down raw, then we sand and finish them in your home for a continuous look and a finish you choose.

Can you refinish the floors I already have?

Often, yes. If the wood is sound, sanding and refinishing can bring a worn or dated floor back for far less than replacing it. We'll tell you honestly whether refinishing or replacement makes more sense.

Where are you located and what areas do you serve?

Our shop is at 37591 Groesbeck Hwy, Clinton Township, MI 48038. We work throughout Macomb County and the surrounding area, including Sterling Heights, Warren, Roseville and the nearby communities.

How long does a wood floor installation take?

A prefinished floor can go in within a day for many rooms. Site-finished work takes longer because of sanding, finishing and dry time. We'll give you a timeline along with your estimate.
